Adding an addition to your home can be very exciting. If you are building an addition here are a few negatives that may pop up that you may not expect while building an addition, and a few tips to help you with these negatives.
There may be a lot more noise than you expected. So if you have pets or small children you may want to schedule some away time or try to stay in a part of the house that is furthest from the noise. Also, remember that there may be small pieces of building material or nails laying around the area. So you will want to keep your pets and children away from the building site area. Another negative is that if your pet normally runs free in the yard, you may need to restrain them to keep them away from this area. The last negative that may pop up while building your addition is that you may need to sacrifice a much larger area of grass and your plants than you originally expected.
